Before. This picture was taken around the middle of August, 2004 outside my hotel on Patong beach. I don't think the subjects of this particular picture were hit by the tsunami, as it was a little further inland. But the hotel I stayed at on Phi Phi Island (P.P. Princess Resort) was completely, utterly demolished.
